1796 Infantry Officers Sword
1796 pattern infantry officer’s sword, this is a good example of one of these swords it retains a great deal of the etching on the blade and is well marked on the spine “ Runkel solingen” the blade marked GR with a royal crest the other side . The silver binding wire on the grip is firm and it still has traces of the original gilding .
