William IV Mahogany Leather Top Writing Desk
A fantastic William IV mahogany writing table of magnificent quality. This dates from around the around the 1840 period.
It is really well made and heavy for its size, with solid turned mahogany legs and original porcelain casters. We have had the leather top replaced, hand coloured and gold tooled. This is nicely finished on the back, so can be used as a free standing piece.
We have had this recently French polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
Width – 49 inches , 125 cm
Depth – 25 inches , 64 cm
Height – 29 inches , 74 cm
