Late 18th.c. Welsh oak potboard dresser base from South Wales c.1790. Two plank top with a good moulded edge and an applied bead plate stand. Over five large drawers, the cockbeaded drawer fronts with slim mahogany crossbanding and large brass knobs. Superb pierced brackets to the raised apron below the centre drawer. Four crisp turned column front legs joined with a useful potboard display shelf. Note the original elm backboards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
