An Art Deco matt green glazed platter of oval form with concentric bands to the rim designed by Tom Wedgwood and John Goodwin for Wedgwood, circa 1930s. Factory impressed and stamped marks to the base.

This platter is a wonderful example of the collaboration between Norman Wilson who, as Wedgwood's production manager, was responsible for developing new glazes, including this innovative matt green glaze, and Clement Tom Wedgwood and John E Goodwin who created the iconic modernist annular shape.

Condition: Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Kiln marks to base as expected. Stamp mark a little difficult to read.
