A gorgeous gilt unused vintage Stratton compact mirror which is ideal for all loose face powder. This lovely vanity is also ideal as a cherished collectible. It is in superb condition. The whole compact is protected with a gilt lacquered finish and so it will never tarnish or need to be cleaned. The mirror frame and inner lid are signed Stratton.

The original mirror sticker is in place. It reads as follows -

STRATTON hand engine turned COMPACT

This stunning accessory was crafted in the between 1949 - 1953. The original presentation box, pouch, puff, sifter and instruction leaflet are present.

The item code 596/ET is written on the base of the cardboard presentation box.

Measures 3 1/2 inches diameter. Weighs 130.4 grams.
