A handsome antique Victorian mahogany desk with leather top and drawers dating from circa 1870. In well-figured mahogany it stands on elegantly shaped and turned legs with original brass casters. The capacious drawers lock and come with a working key. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too wide.

Solid and sturdy. Good colour. Marks, scuffs and wear commensurate with age. Some small sections of wear to the writing surface (a little section missing to one corner).
