This is an elegant late Victorian double wardrobe in the aesthetic style, dating from around 1880. The robe is a nice quality piece in solid ash with decorative walnut veneered panels and solid walnut contrasting beadwork and moulding. The robe is a handsome design and a practical piece with a great storage capacity. This has its original silk lined interior and quality fitments and solid brass hangars to the cross rail. The drawer in the base is a fine size and in great condition. The wardrobe is of some scale measuring 242 cms high, 125 cms wide and 56 cms deep overall. Internally the cabinet measures 115 cms wide 50 cms deep and 184 cms high.
