Unusual 19th Century French Shaped Stool
A good quality late 19th Century French walnut shaped stool with carved dog heads. This very unusual and decorative stool dating to the late 19th Century / early 20th Century is constructed of solid walnut. Having hand carved dogs head each holding the turned and carved rail support in their mouths fall down to form a U shaped planked seat which is raised on shaped mirrored supports terminating on hairy paw feet. In excellent original waxed condition with no loose joints and a gorgeous colour this very decorative stool is a great talking piece.

We have a reputation for being long established antique dealers in London having had showrooms concurrently running in Islington, Chelsea and Ascot. We have relocated our new showroom, due to London overheads, easily reached between A1 or A10 to just outside of Hertford, Hertfordshire.
We will happily arrange for clients to be collected travelling via train. Local stations being Hertford North, Stevenage and Ware, all being a 10 minute drive from us.
