Superb Tube-Lined BURMANTOFTS Jardiniere Stand
A stunning BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE ART POTTERY Jardiniere Stand produced in the Burmantofts Leeds factory between 1882 and 1904, in superb original condition.
Beautiful tube lined decoration, golden glazed background with molded organic designs, contrasting with deep rich blue glazed panels. Additional pale blue and cream decoration. Fully marked 'BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE ENGLAND', with design no. 2037 and Col.No. 53/9.
This is a much scarcer example than the solid colour Burmantoft pieces more regularly seen.
Important Note - Only the Jardiniere STAND is for sale in this listing. It is displayed in photo 1 together with a similar colourway Burmantofts Jardiniere Planter. This Planter (our ref no 2937) is listed separately for sale on the website. The 2 items may be bought together for a discount. Please contact us for more details.
The stand is ~ 625mm high and ~ 265mm wide at its widest point.
