Spode Caramanian Pattern Pearlware Plate, c.1820
A lovely early 19th Century Spode Blue and White Caramanian Pattern Pearlware Dinner Plate, decorated with the "Sarcophagi and Sepulchres at the Head of the Harbour at Cacamo" pattern, after an original engraving by Luigi Mayer. The plate is both impressed and stamped "Spode" to the base. The plate is a good colour.
