Set 4 18thC Limbach Ornithological Dessert Plates
Fabulous late 18th century German porcelain dessert plates by the Limbach manufactory in Thuringia with crossed ticks and star mark dating for 1772-1787. Superbly painted with various garden and some more exotic birds in a tree with insects and flowers dotted around and with a pretty reticulated rim painted with a bright puce pink and with gilded rims.
They measure 24cm wide and 3cm deep. Condition is excellent with no damage and very light surface wear for age and use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
