Royal Worcester Twin-Handled Tri-Footed Vase 1876

1 of 6
Maker - Royal Worcester
Item - Twin-Handled, Tri-Footed Round Vase
Details - Painted brightly in yellow and gilt with floral decoration. Stamped in green to the base. The Royal Worcester crest is rubbed as is the year cypher, but this appears to read '76' for 1876. There are gilt initials to the base also, which read F.R. - possibly for Frank Roberts, a Worcester fruit and flower painter who was active at this time.
Condition - Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some rubbing to the gilt paintwork, which is worse around the top rim, and some small flakes to the paintwork of the yellow body. There is also a chip to one side of the vase below the flowers. As is mentioned above the Royal Worcester crest on the bottom of the vase is badly rubbed.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
9.5cm high. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
