This little cabinet plate is a fine example of the work of William Powell, one of Royal Worcester's best known painters of birds and is signed by him. The kingfisher, which is almost lifelike, was painted in 1931 but still retains its brightness of colour more than eighty years later. The gilding is also in very good condition. It measures 11.5cm in diameter. There is no evidence of restoration. Payment - We are happy to accept payment by Bank Transfer/International Transfer.
