This very fine chiffonier is made from beautifully grained Rosewood. It dates from circa 1830 and has 2 drawers with the original brass knobs and locks, which still work with the original key. The 2 cupboard doors have brass grills with pleated silk behind. If the buyer wishes to replace the silk, we can get this done professionally with the buyers choice of fabric for a small price (i.e. cost price).

The central bar to the doors is brass and, again, has its original lock and key. The chiffonier stands on 4 short turned feet. The brass is all of excellent quality and completely original. The back of the cabinet is totally sound. We believe that this piece has never been touched by restoration and is still in its' original and well cared for condition. The back unscrews very easily for transport. All in all, a gorgeous piece of antique furniture, small enough to fit in any location.
