Rare Spode Porcelain Miniature / Toy Tea Kettle
A sweet and rare porcelain toy tea kettle decorated in the Coalbrookdale style with applied flowers and leaves and a spotted woodpecker and canary nestled in amongst the vines. The twig style handle and spout are decorated with a mottled green and brown effect and the white ground has scattered gilt detailing and rims. The cover has matching gilt decoration and the knop is formed as a pink rose. Unmarked, Spode, c.1825.
