A pair of Black and White curly coat Staffordshire Dogs.

An impressive pair of black and white Staffordshire “fireside” dogs. These are far rarer than the usual dogs in that they have curly underglaze hair on their fringe and around the back of the head as well as a separate front leg.
They are an original 19th century pair made in the mid Victorian era, circa 1870.
They stand 12 inches high.
The condition is very good with no chips cracks or repairs. There is rubbing to the gilded collar and chains on both dogs, but more on one than the other, as can be seen in the photographs.

The post and packing cost is £15.00
They will be packaged box within a box for added protection and posted by Special Delivery so as not to get stuck in a sorting office (hopefully).
