A rare matched pair of Irish mahogany decanter stands, each with raised mahogany shields to protect the contents of the decanters from the heat of an open fire.
Probably originally designed to be used with a hunt table.

Excellent colour and patination.

Together with a pair of Regency cut-glass triple ring decanters c1820

Irish, circa 1790-1810
