DESCRIPTION

Beautifully crafted Doulton Lambeth Stoneware vase's by prominent Doulton artist Elizabeth Fisher. Some of her early work in baluster form, the vase's feature incised foliate designs that are further enhanced by ornate rosettes and applied beadwork borders in deep treacle brown, cobalt blue and white. A stunning pair.

Vase's Measure approx 19cm tall.

ELIZABETH FISHER

Elizabeth Fisher worked at the Doulton Lambeth Pottery from 1873 to 1888. Strongly influenced by George Tinworth, her earlier designs used incised foliate scrolls, formalised flower heads and beadwork. She later branched out, often simplifying her designs in line with changing tastes.

CONDITION

Both vases are in very good condition commensurate with age, with no chips, cracks or restoration.
