This stunning and beautifully hand painted 19th C. English pottery dessert service features a finely detailed floral border with gold leaf and a central image of various English outdoor scenes of castles and rural settings. The set consists of 2 rectangular serving dishes 13 ¼ in – 33.6 cm by 9 ½ in – 24.1 cm, 2 oval serving dishes 12 ¾ in – 32.4 cm by 9 ½ in – 24.1 cm, and 1 circular pedestal dish with a 9 ½ in – 24.1 cm. The set also features 11 dessert plates measuring 9 ½ in – 24.1 cm. All of these pieces are in excellent condition with very minor wear to commensurate with age.
