Circa 1860 (or earlier). Meji (or earlier) period Imari charger with fluted rim with gilding and typical Imari blue and red palettes. Centrally are a panel of chrysanthemums surrounded by panels with geisha girls or birds in rich colourings and gilding with minimal wear. The back with painted marks.
