Meissen Porcelain Figure Grape Pickers As Autumn
A charming 19th century Meissen figural group of a girl seated on a clearly very tame recumbent goat holding out a section of grape vine with the goat's head between her arms eyeing up the grapes and a gourd lying at her feet. A boy stands beside her playing a flute with a hod full of grapes stood behind him. Representative of Autumn from a series of the Seasons.
