Unusual mid 19th.c. marble top rosewood chiffonier sideboard with embroidered velvet door panels c.1850. Original thick white marble top over a single drawer and a two door cupboard fitted with shelves. Beautifully figured rosewood veneers to the front and sides. Pointed arch door panels faced with very dark green/blue velvet embroidered with plant forms and butterflies. Flanked on each side with particularly well carved corbels to the top and base. Wear to the velvet panels, earlier repairs at the rear corners the marble top where it probably once had a shelf fitted and an old chip from the front edge. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
