Large mahogany writing desk. English, and dated to around c. 1900. There are 9 smoothly running drawers with original brass handles, which offer loads of useful storage space being long and deep. Working locks and key. The writing surface is original and although slightly worn, we felt it better suited the desk and was retained. This desk breaks down into three parts and is polished all around for centre of room positioning! We placed this desk with our restorers and after slight restoration,it was waxed polished. Seen here in superb condition with a mellow antique patination, it is ready for use.
