This very striking Antique Pottery Vase on Stand bears the Factory Marks (1850-1871) for William Brownfield of Cobridge, Staffordshire Potteries.
It stands a stately 23 inches (58.5 cm) high.
The Vase, which is raised on a matching Stand, has a pierced cover allowing the Pot Pourri aromas to circulate.
The gilt decoration is noteworthy.
The condition of this piece is good. There is no restoration.
There is a minute fleabite to the footrim of the Vase which cannot be seen when it sits in the Stand and an old, short hairline on the top rim of the Vase.
An outstanding piece of Highly decorated Victorian English Pottery.
