Fulham Pottery Mantle Planter by Constance Spry
A good early example of Constance Spry's mantle vase design, made at Fulham Pottery in the 1930's. Unglazed in a biscuit colour to the outside and glazed to the centre. No chips or cracks but there is some crazing to the inside and a small stain on one side. The vase has also been painted at some point and although now removed, there is some light paint residue and a few age related marks and scuffs in places. It doesn't detract though and is still a great authentic decorators piece. Fully marked to the base with FMC3 and letter 'C' incised
