Foley - Freda Beardmore 1934 Harrods Exhibition
A truly stunning 16cm plate designed by Freda Beardmore for the 1934 Art in Industry exhibition at Harrods. Both Clarice Cliff and Foley provided ceramics for the exhibition by notable artists of the day including Paul Nash, Laura Knight, Vanessa Bell and Graham Sutherland.
Freda Beardmore headed the project for Foley and this is one of her own designs. In immaculate condition and rings perfectly. No chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing. 2 minute paint specks as shown but barely worth a mention, Marked and signed to the base.
