First Period Worcester Apple Green Trio c.1770
Very pretty first period Worcester fluted trio of coffee cup, tea cup and saucer with a rare apple green ground around the edges, shaped with gilded scrolls. Otherwise beautifully painted in coloured enamels with garden flowers. Provenance - The David Butti collection.
The saucer measures 13.6cm (5 3/8") wide and 3cm (1 1/8") high. The tea cup is 4.8cm (1 7/8") high, 8.2cm (3 1/4") rim to rim and 11cm (4 1/4") rim to handle. The coffee cup is 6cm (2 3/8") high, 5.7cm (2 1/4") rim to rim and 7.5cm (3") rim to handle. Condition is excellent with no damage to any piece bar a really tiny nick to the underside of the rim of the saucer. No restoration and very light surface wear to both enamel and gilding Christmas Posting we are posting up until Monday 23rd December!
