Eight late Georgian period Lancashire spindle back dining chairs c.1810. Some very slight differences in design but all in ash with a shaped top rail over two rows of five turned spindles between and turned rear stiles. Recently renewed woven rush seats (height 17½") in excellent condition. Raised on turned front legs with pad feet and joined with an attractively turned front stretcher plus simple spindle stretchers to the sides and rear for extra strength. With some repairs to bottom of the legs on a few of the chairs, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
