Derby Porcelain Imari Coffee Can French Handle
Pretty Derby coffee can with a "French" style handle with grooved sides. Painted with large floral pattern in an imari palette of red and blue with gilded highlights. Red mark to the base, c.1810.
It measures 9cm (3 1/2") rim to handle, 6.5cm (2 5/8") rim to rim and 6.5cm (2 5/8") high. Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Some loss of the gilding below the blue band under the rim and a little to the rim itself but surface wear otherwise is light. The surface is lightly crazed, there is a little discolouration inside the base, very slightly around the base and some kiln dust detritius on the handle. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
