This is a good pair of 19th century Ironstone plates by GL Ashworth in excellent condition dating from around 1860. These are beautifully hand painted in bold ironstone colours with fine detail to the design. The hand painted workmanship is in splendid order with good strength of colour in a palette typical of Crown Derby and similar companies from this era. These are beautifully hand gilded throughout with the gilding all in excellent crisp condition. The plates measures 26 cms in diameter
