For sale today we have this superb "St Francis of Assisi" pottery plaque by the Compton Potters' Art Guild. A gorgeous piece of Arts & Crafts pottery to a design by Mary Seton Watts. Features St Francis in blue robes with birds and a gilt halo. Measures 19cm x 12cm. Bears an impressed Compton stamp to the rear along with remnants of it's original paper care label and hanging hook.
No chips, cracks or repair, some wear to the tempera glaze. We are experienced dealers in mid to high end ceramics, metalware and other items.
