A Clarice Cliff grapefruit bowl from the Bizarre range, decorated in a variant to the "Red roofs" pattern. We have not been able to identify the exact pattern name.
This shape and type of pattern dates to the early 1930s.

The bowl is fully backstamped with the Clarice Cliff Newport pottery backstamp.

The bowl is approximately 17.5 cm (6.75") wide, by 12.5 cm (4.75"), and 5 cm (2") deep.

The bowl is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is a some minor wear to the painting, and light crazing to the cream ground.
