Chinese porcelain censer - Ying Ching glaze
Chinese porcelain censer with two characterful monster heads, decorated with Ying Ching glaze - a very pale bluey/white - and craquelure. The shape is similar to that of the bronze form produced in the Xuande period (Ming) but this is believed to date from 18th Century. A label on base states from collection of Vermeer and Griggs.
