Here we have a wonderful and rare William IV Military campaign chest of drawers c1830. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. Most of these chests are Victorian however with all the locks stamped W crown cipher R this is undoubtedly of the William IV period and circa 1830. It is also a rare configuration of two short over four long drawers. There is a single plank to the top with beautifully shaped brass corners. The drawers retain their original rebated flush handles. The drawers have Mahogany linings and hand cut dovetail joints and faux cockbeaded edges. The chest splits in two and the bottom section sits on original feet. A super rare example in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 118 cm high 98 cm wide 45 cm deep.
