Caughley Large Leaf Shaped Pickle Dish Fisherman
A very nice example of a large size Caughley porcelain leaf shape pickle dish decorated with the ever popular "fisherman" / "pleasure boat" pattern, c.1780-1795. Moulded leaf vein detail to the underside and serrated edge. Unmarked.

It measures 12.2cm (4 13/16") wide, 11.5cm (4 1/2") long and 3.5cm (1 3/8") high.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration, unusually no chips to the rim, and minimal handling wear. There is a firing line underneath part way around the join of the foot. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
