A beautiful mid-century / Scandinavian Modern shallow dish.
c.1960s.
A beautifully formed shallow dish, of broadly oval form, the raised sides asymmetrical.
The upper surface with a freckled turquoise / malachite coloured glaze over a deeper ground. The underside similar, with the turquoise breaking to deeper indigo.
An exquisite dish of the highest quality.
Fully inscribed within the foot with both the monogram for the potter and the mark for Rorstrand, Sweden.
A good size, it measures 19.5 cms long x 14cms across x 5cms high (at highest point).
A superb example by this highly acclaimed Swedish ceramicist.
