C19th Small Blue & White Ceramic Coffee Can

This lovely antique blue & white coffee can looks to date from the first half of the nineteenth century, but may be earlier. It has a maker's mark to the base (I:3) which we have not been able to identify, but we believe it to be of English origin. It has blue and white decoration and gilt rings around the top and bottom of the cup.
Condition: Overall in fair-good condition, with some wear and damage consistent with age and use. There are some manufacturing imperfections as might be expected. There are three small chips around the top rim. The gilt rings at the top and bottom are badly worn.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
6cm high, 6.2cm diameter of top. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
