A fabulous 8 inch plate of a leaping gazelle designed by Billie Waters for the 1934 Harrods and 1935 Art in Industry exhibitions. Famed for her animal studies, she was a Newlyn and Royal Academy artist, later working along side Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicholson in St Ives.
20cm /8 inches dia
In very condition with no damage, although some fine crazing visible when viewed close up and tilted to the light.
