All clasps & hinges work well.
This is a robust purse & very useable. It would be perfect to finish off that 1920s outfit.
The metal work & mesh are in good condition & showing the patina you would expect on a antique item. Such a wonderful Art Deco design. Even the metal attachments that the chain holds onto echos the wonderful Art Deco design - please see photograph two for a close-up. The frame is signed " WHITING & DAVIS CO MESH BAGS "
This antique mesh purse measures 7 1/2 " long (from the clasp to the bottom) & 4 3/4 " wide.
The chain handle measures 7 " tall.
