Fabulous 1950's Wilardy clear lucite bag encrusted with diamantes. This amazing bag is made from clear lucite and decorated with strips of diamante covering sections of the body of the bag and engulfing the handle with sparkly delight. The base of the bag is clear. The clasp is integral to the design and works beautifully. This really is an outstanding lucite bag.

Wilardy Originals are one of the most well known designers and manufacturers of lucite bags from 1946 although the lucite bags were mostly made in the 1950's and worked from the Wilardy Original factory in New York and then moved to New Jersey in 1953. The bags were expensive at the time and carried by the iconic figures of the day including movie stars and society ladies.

This bag is in excellent condition throughout. All the diamantes are in place and the lucite has minimal and light surface scratches.
