A charming antique George II bureau carved with floral scroll, flowerhead roundels, guilloche and lunettes, the fall front revealing a stepped and fitted interior with a well (secrect drawer). It comprises three long drawers and stands on shaped bracket feet. The carving and lion mask handles are later embellishments undertaken in the second half of the nineteenth century. The top drawer and bottom drawer lock and come with a working key (top key for decoration only).

Oak.
Condition Report
Solid. Wear to the interior and exterior commensurate with age. The carving and lion mask handles are later replacements. Old splits to the sides along with various old mends. Evidence of old worm holes to the sides and interior (this has been treated with worm killer as a precaution).
