Antique C19th Chinese Pottery Ginger Jar

This lovely antique ginger jar looks to be of Chinese origins and we would estimate it to date from the second half of the nineteenth century. It has a wooden lid, which may be a later replacement. It is heavy, weighing around 1.8kg and of a good larger size.
Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. There are some manufacturing imperfections as might be expected and some flaws in the glaze. There is some grubbiness inside and some grubby marks to the outside. There is some surface scratching and wear and an old fracture to the base. The wooden lid may be a later replacement and has some fading and wear.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
