Antique 1920s Minerva pocket watch
1920s Minerva stem winding pocket watch.
The watch has a high grade 15-jewel (4 adjustments), Swiss stem-winding movement with swan neck regulator, which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. There is some wear to the outer edge of the back cover and some unevenness.
The movement and case are not original to each other.
The acrylic lens is in good condition, a little light marking but nothing too serious at all.
The white enamel dial is signed with the original retailer’s name, H White Mfg Co, Manchester, Admiralty Watch Maker. The dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
