Made of solid oak, and with leaded doors glazed with red, yellow, green and clear glass, this large Arts & Crafts item comprises a bookcase, bureau and chest of drawers. There are four shelves behind the glazed doors, the drawers are graduated and the bureau has an open interior. The fall front rests on two sturdy lopers. It has Art Nouveau ring handles and a slender, overhanging cornice supported by shaped brackets.

Dimensions101.5cm wide, 194.5cm high and 36cm deep. All four shelves measure 21cm high and 15.5cm deep. The graduated drawers are 12.5cm, 15.5cm and 21cm high from top to bottom. It has recently been refinished to a lovely mid-brown colour and the drawer bottoms have been replaced. The handles all appear to be original, though the fall front once had a handle that has been removed and replaced with a simple round escutcheon.
