A Ceramic figure of a Panther
A classic example of top quality central European porcelain of the inter-war period. Made by the Wiener Porzellanmanufactur, Augarten in Vienna in 1930 or 1931 from a woodcarving of a panther created by Franz Barwig "the elder" 1868 - 1931. The underside has a blue underglaze factory mark and an impressed model Nr. 1630.
