6 Porcelain Monkey Musicians
SET OF 6 PORCELAIN MONKEY MUSICIANS IN THE ROCCOCO CONTINENTAL STYLE 11 INCHES HIGH
A full and unique set of continental porcelain monkey musicians,each seen playing different instruments and with the main keyboard player sitting on a monkeys back.
They are all seen in early 18th.century dress,typical of the Roccoco style and 1760's period.
A colourful and well glazes set of considerable weight and substantial size.
A chance to acquire a sought after group,each being hand painted and gilded.
We obviously cannot split any of them and have not seen anything on this scale over the years.
