This ornately painted inkstand is probably 19th century French, although it is unmarked. It comprises two inkwells and a pounce pot set in a solid porcelain base with scrolled feet and a lion mask head handle at each end. The pen troughs are decorated with hand painted floral designs. The porcelain of the base and the individual little pots are in excellent condition with no evidence of damage or repair. It is clean and has been well cared. The gilding is worn in places. It measures 17cm x 13cm (Inc. feet) and is 9cm high. Payment - We are happy to accept payment by Bank Transfer/International Transfer.
