19th Century German Meissen Figure Group
We are selling this lovely decorative meissen figure group. A gardener sits on a tree stump with his spade to one side and a basket of brightly coloured flowers. He wears a bright blue jacket and cream pantaloons with gold lines. A pretty young woman stands besides him, she wears a floral skirt with white bodice and lemon hat. She holds a watering pot in one hand and pink flower in the other. A small child stands behind them.
Measuring 8 inches in height and 6 inches in base width. Clearly marked to base with crossed swords and impressed marks as shown in picture.
