19th Century Continental Metal Bound Trunk
A 19th century continental (possibly Italian) metal bound trunk with decorated inserts and removable compartments. The exterior of the trunk is covered in decorative stamped sheet metal with wooden strapwork and has leather carrying handles to each side. There are locking clasps to the front and the original padlock is included. The interior is decorated with colourful advertising print and miscellaneous images from the period. Good condition for age.
