Edwardian Writing Bureau - Serpentine Front - c1910
An Edwardian serpentine front bureau of useful proportions with splendid fitted interior presented in excellent condition.
Rising from ogee bracket feet, through canted reeded corners, into the serpentine main body featuring four drawers with oak linings and original drop handles.
Cross-banding and fine stringing are present across the fall flap and drawer fronts.
The upper presents a fall front opening to provide a pleasing work area perfect for regular use.
Within the high quality fitted interior there are serpentine drawers, cubbies and letter slots and a central main space with cabinet door.
Overall a very desirable example in good order providing huge style and practicality.
